Jan 2010 Prepairing to leave for Thailand

Leave on thursday 6am and arrive in Bangkok at 7am 8th. Not looking forward to the 13 hours on and off of planes but maybe I can just get wasted on the plane? Pretty scary but super excited about it as well.
Very good Coincidence that one of the group (Lex) happens to be on the same plane as me from Abu Dhabi to BKK (we didn't plan this obv). I booked first night at Dream hotel and looks like Josh, Arnaud, Tom, chris and Lex will as well now :) Although we all get there at different times. I am a bit worried about spending a shit ton of money first few weeks, just because everything is cheaper then home. I'm not 100% sure how long we are staying in BKK for till we move on to Chiang Mai, I for one would like to stay out for a few days or so and see the 'sights'. I gotta get packing today, so many little things to finish off before i leave.
